Robin's passion for floral design blossomed while traveling through Europe as a young adult. Robin immersed herself in the breathtaking landscapes and gardens that can only be seen in Tuscany, Italy; where she studied abroad at California State Long Beach. Driving the scenic routes on the Mediterranean coastline and throughout countries like Switzerland and Germany, Robin planted in her head that each creation she makes will resemble the act of picking them individually from a historical countryside. This is how the idea of Ethical Flowers bloomed. Every creation from Posies is made with love and a little piece of history.

Posies is farm-direct; we look for flowers grown by local farmers and working urban farms, partnering with farmers who use sustainable growing practices.(this reduces carbon emissions, supports the local economy, and gives you beautiful bouquets that last longer.) ensuring their products are grown more sustainably and with few toxic chemicals, also means safer conditions for the workers who grow your flowers. we start by locating local farms in the southern California area that follow our eco-friendly beliefs and branch out to domestic, American farms that are all Rainforest Alliance Certified, meaning they pass rigorous checks for sustainable and humane practices.
